YA'ALLAH! I'm sick and tired of people asking me whether I'm a madrasah student (full-time madrasah).
LIKE -________- ????!!!
Why do I have to be a Madrasah student just because I'm going around learning about Islam?
I've been attending classes where ever I think is a good place for me to acquire knowledge and chase ilm!
And my mum just told me that I'm one of the most arrogant-looking person on the street.
DO I LOOK ARROGANT TO YOU?
LOL...
Though so I do agree with my mum, I only smile to people I know on the streets. I've made the effort to start smiling to sisters; brothers are out of the picture.
I'm super paranoid to smile to sisters on the streets. The reason why is it's either they throw me a "I don't know you, why are you smiling at me" kinda look OR they personally ask me "Erm.. it seems that I've seen you somewhere. Do I know you?" and of course there are those who reward me the smile back and make my day :)
I mean come on, Prophet saw said -: "Your Smile to your brother will be accounted as charity in your deeds on judgement day" (Sahih Muslim)
I'm just trying to earn some reward for myself and yourself ya'know sisters. SO PLEASE smile back :)
Back to the madrasah part, sigh.. I'm not from a full-time Madrasah and I never was. I was from a CATHOLIC school. They had bible sharing and hymn singing every alternate week; and the many catholic events celebrated with much glory. So when I tell them this, they'll go just :O
SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH! Habla!
So NO, I am NOT a Madrasah student just because I go to the Masjid and I wear the Hijab.
AND, I'm not arrogant. I'm the most friendly stranger you can find on the street.
Ask the sisters who know me; they'll tell you how i love making friends with random people. RANDOM people ;) (winks at fatin lolololol)
Ok I'm off to meet my darling sister(fatin). and I'm going to miss my retarded nasara best friend; she's off to Indonesia for 4 days. It's ok i'll text her and let her pay the highest of phone bills. lol.

Allah Ybarakfeeky w inshaAllah you smile more and more often :D
MasAllah!! You're SO pretty! I love your scarf too :) Very cute. Stick in there and just try to ignore the mean words some people will throw at you. Sometimes I think it just makes them uncomfortable to see someone trying to be pious and educate themselves when they fail to do the same. About the smiling thing, I totally feel the same way sometimes... other times I will just say ugh whatever and wave to a hijabi if I see her, LOL. >.<
