Hungry!

Couldn't think of a better title, because right now; I can hear my stomach growling. :S
I'm loving college life at the same time I'm feeling horribly exhausted. It's the weather and the long journeys to and from school; not to mention the migration that we need to do to get to different buildings for different lectures. aaah Subhana'Allah it's draining.

Not to mention I have an IT Application Assignment to hand up tomorrow and I understand NUTS of it. Tomorrow's going to be a long day masha'Allah and I only have an hour of break (dang ya!)

Honestly, I find joy being int his course; Alhamdulillah I'm pretty grateful to be here :)

Anyway something interesting happened today. The weather was as usual humid but this morning it was unusually warm, my body being itself; I don't feel as warm as the others do. So we were in a full lift and a non-Muslim lecturer was standing in front of me fanning herself.
She turned to me and complained about how warm the weather was then she turned away and said to herself "I wonder how you guys can stand the heat with the scarf on"

I just smiled and look down.

Wallah, I felt so proud to be a Hijabee at the point. Subhana'Allah; I felt like my Hijab was making da'wah on it's own. But wallah, I was really not feeling warm; in fact I felt like my Hijab was like a shade to my body; ya know like it makes me feel more comfortable, less humid and warm.

Oh and I'm gettting used to the "Going to school with Hijab" kinda environment; can't wait for the Muslim Society's Freshman Orientation Camp next week wheeeeeeee :D
